Treating the whole patient, not just the condition

"The part can never be well unless the whole is well." - Plato

ABOUT US

At VetMotion Animal Wellness, we believe every pet deserves care that is as individual as they are. We bring expert veterinary medicine directly to where your animal is most comfortable, in your home or stable, so that healing begins in familiar surroundings, free from the stress of a clinical environment.

Our approach is truly collaborative. Dr Laura, the pet's owner and primary care vet work side by side at every stage of your animal's journey, ensuring treatment decisions are made together and nothing is overlooked. Whether you've been referred to us by your regular vet or you've reached out directly, you'll receive the same attentive, personalised care from your very first appointment.

We work with dogs, cats, and horses, bringing together the best of conventional and integrative medicine to help your animal live a more comfortable, mobile, and fulfilling life.

Who We Are

Dr Laura Brisbane-Cohen

BSc, BVMS(Hons), MVPH-EAD, CVA, CVCH, CCRP (resident), CVNN (resident)

Dr Laura has spent over 20 years caring for animals across four continents. Graduating from Murdoch University in 2006 before building her career across Australia, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and New York. Each chapter brought new cases, new challenges, and new ways of thinking about what animals truly need to heal.

Ten years ago, she began to notice a consistent pattern in her patients. Those receiving integrative care, acupuncture and herbal medications alongside western treatment options, were doing better. Not marginally, but noticeably. She'd seen it enough times to know it wasn't coincidence, and that realisation changed the direction of her practice entirely.

Dr Laura went on to dedicate her work fully to integrative veterinary medicine, most recently running her own integrative clinic in New York City. There, she worked with animals navigating pain, cancer, organ disease, mobility challenges, and complex congenital conditions, and watched them respond in ways that conventional treatment alone rarely achieved.

Now based in Singapore, she has founded VetMotion Animal Wellness to bring that same standard of integrative care here. She works closely with referring vets and pet owners alike, taking time to understand each animal's full picture before building a plan they can all feel confident in.

Common Conditions We Treat

Integrative medicine is particularly effective for animals living with complex, chronic, or painful conditions where conventional treatment alone may not be enough. Here are some of the conditions the team commonly work with at VetMotion Animal Wellness.

Spinal and Neurological conditions

Therapies such as acupuncture, rehabilitation exercises, laser therapy, and supportive care can help improve coordination, strength, comfort, and quality of life in pets with neurological disease.

Surgical - Pre & Post-Operative Care

Integrative treatments can support healing before and after surgery by reducing pain and swelling, improving mobility, and helping pets regain strength and function more comfortably and faster

Congenital Mobility Conditions

Rehabilitation and pain management therapies can help improve movement, muscle strength, comfort, and long-term mobility in pets born with orthopedic or neurological conditions.

Oncology or Cancer Care

Integrative care can help support comfort, mobility, appetite, and overall quality of life for pets undergoing cancer treatment or palliative care.

Organ Health

Integrative veterinary care may help support comfort, appetite, and overall wellbeing in pets living with chronic organ disease alongside conventional medical management.

Age Related Pain & Mobility Issues

Acupuncture, rehabilitation therapy, laser treatment, ECSW and multimodal pain management can help reduce joint pain, improve mobility, and keep pets active for longer.

Trauma and Injuries
